A note about sustainability
St Mary’s College values sustainability and therefore encourages families to re-use old stationery items from previous years, where possible.
At St Mary’s College, we are committed to reducing stationery waste and promoting environmental sustainability. We have compiled a list of suggested general stationery requirements for secondary students; however, we encourage students to retain stationery and utilise materials from previous years instead of purchasing new supplies.
ORDER DEADLINES AND DELIVERY INFORMATION
To ensure you receive your book and stationery requirements prior to Term 1, 2025, you must complete your order by 22 January 2025. After this date, every effort will be made by Office National to deliver your order before the start of Term 1, 2025 but this cannot be guaranteed.

Year 5 students will still be required to purchase an iPad and new students entering the Senior School in Years 8-12 will continue the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program.
For more information on the devices required, including minimum device specifications, please see the device specifications web page here and the links below.

Year 7
We advise families with students entering Year 7 2025 not to purchase a device for your child for Year 7 2025. We are pleased to confirm that Year 7 2025 will have a school-provided device, a Lenovo 13w Yoga Gen 2.

New Year 8-12 students
All new students from Years 8-12 in 2025 will take part in the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program. Help sessions are available to assist in enrolling laptops into the BYOD platform, installing Microsoft 365 apps and more in the first few days of Term 1.
The latest information regarding the BYOD program in 2025, especially updates to Device Requirements, FAQs and access to Device Purchasing opportunities, can be found here.
Existing Year 8-12 students who bought a new device in the holidays:
Existing students that are replacing their laptop in 2024 will need to un-enrol or remove their previous device from BYOD management before attempting to enrol a replacement device.
– For guidance, see the guide to remove your device from the Company Portal which is also provided on the school website.
– Alternatively, contact the ICT Help Desk for assistance to un-enrol your previous device.
To complete laptop preparations, guides and instructions such as enrolling your laptop, installing Microsoft 365 apps and setting up the OneDrive app can also be found on the College website here.
Additional support will be made available in the first week of Term 1 for any student having difficulty enrolling and setting up their device.

Parents and carers are reminded that students in Years 3-6 are not required to attend a Bring Your Own Device enrolment session, as iPads will be enrolled in class in the first few weeks of Term 1, 2025.
