St Mary’s College has a smartphone payment app that makes paying for school fees and Murphy’s Café items easier than ever before. It’s called Qkr! (pronounced ‘quicker’) by MasterCard.

How to install the SMC Qkr payment app

For further information on how to install Qkr! on your smartphone, view the following guides. If you don’t have a smartphone, you can use the desktop version of Qkr!

Step by step instructions

To download app to device:
  1. Enter into your smartphone or tablet app store
  2. Search for Qkr! Mastercard app and download onto device
  3. Welcome note will appear; either view or skip to next section
  4. Click on ‘get started’
  5. Select ‘Australia’ under country of residence
  6. Click on ‘next’
Qkr sign up area:
  1. Enter email address
  2. Create a password
  3. Confirm password
  4. Click on ‘done’
  5. Enter profile picture or skip to the next section
  6. Click on ‘done’
  7. Search for ‘St Mary’s College’ by entering st marys hobart in the search bar
  8. Alternatively, scan the QR code found in the PDF instruction sheet above (note: you will need a QR reader app for this on your phone)

This will take you into the St Mary’s College Qkr! app. The following menus are available:

Canteen: canteen menu orders (please click on the blank square below chosen day to commence order)

School Payments: payments for Building Fund donations, school fees and trips/excursions

To add a child:
  1. Enter student’s name
  2. Select relevant year (eg Kinder)
  3. Select relevant grade (eg Wallabies)
