Woolworths grant for Murphy’s

Posted on in Junior School

We are very excited to share that Murphy’s Café has received a Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant to help fund the extension to the children’s garden, luwutina kipli.

Two raised garden beds have recently been added to the site, with plans to introduce a variety of fruit trees and, eventually, a greenhouse.

Trees will also be rehomed from the neighbouring St Virgil’s College Junior School site.

The garden will have a strong focus on biodiversity, and students in all year groups will be encouraged to get involved in its care and maintenance.
