Archbishop’s charter

The Archbishop’s Charter for Catholic Schools is used to guide everybody involved with Catholic schools and colleges, and will offer reassurance to parents of students attending our Catholic schools and colleges.

It draws inspiration from the philosophy and vision expressed in the Catholic Education Tasmania Commission’s vision and mission statement. The Commission acknowledges Catholic schools as communities of faith, learning for life.

The most recent Archbishop’s Charter can be found on the Catholic Education Tasmania website.

Groving our love of learning

St Mary's College is located on the traditional lands of the muwinina people of the South East Nation. We acknowledge and deeply respect the palawa people, the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community, and all Elders past and present. We are committed to learning alongside our students and community in this place, nipaluna, and support the continued sharing of knowledge and culture.
