About the position

The role of Finance Officer contributes to the successful functioning of the Business Office by providing support with Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions and will need to provide friendly customer service for staff and students and assist in the day to day operations of the Student Services Office.

The successful applicant will be required to;

  • apply in-depth finance and administration knowledge and skills to ensure functions are undertaken accurately and in a timely manner.
  • work with general direction from the Office Coordinator (Student Services) and Finance Coordinator.
  • attend and respond to Student queries and first aid in the Student Services Office as required.
  • use own discretion and judgment in planning, allocating resources, organising work, innovating in own function and taking responsibility for outcomes.
  • Use own judgement to identify, select and apply the most appropriate guidelines and procedures.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
