Workshop seeks to educate, empower young women

St Mary’s College is offering six students the opportunity to attend a two-day workshop hosted by The School of Entrepreneurship for Girls – at no cost.

Suitable for young women aged around 14-years, this school holiday intensive will educate, empower and inspire participants to build their self-confidence and self-awareness, achieve their goals, improve their problem-solving skills and financial literacy, and succeed in work and life.

Workshop information:

Who: Delivered by Vanessa Cox and Nina Christian from The School of Entrepreneurship for Girls, this program is suitable for  students in Year 8 and 9.

Why: Learn vital life skills, problem-solving skills and vocational skills of the future, while building confidence, community and relational literacy – skills essential to being a successful entrepreneur.

Where: Held in Hobart (venue to be confirmed).

When: During the Term 2 school holidays, Thursday 13 and Friday 14 July, from 10.00am-4.30pm, both days.

Cost: Only six free tickets available (valued at $395 each).
