The Mary’s College Senior School Vinnies group has recently launched its ‘Cosy for Compassion Clothes Drive’ for winter 2017.

The drive runs until Wednesday 21 June, and will culminate in a Senior School Pyjama Day.

To help out, simply bring along any warm, good quality second-hand clothing items that you would like to donate.

Some ideas include:

  • Gloves
  • Beanies
  • Jackets/coats
  • Scarves
  • Socks
  • Jumpers
  • Blankets

Donating your old clothes is a wonderful way to recycle and stop clothes going to waste, while also helping out the community. For many individuals and families, your unwanted items will make a world of difference, especially during the harsh winter months.

Donation bins are located at the bottom of the stairs near the Year 11/12 common room.

Remember, whichever house donates the most clothes wins spirit points for their house.

Good luck, and may the best house win!
