The St Mary’s College community is warmly invited to attend an upcoming presentation from internationally renowned journalist, author and TED speaker, Peggy Orenstein.
Peggy is the writer of the New York Times bestsellers, ‘Girls and Sex’, ‘Cinderella Ate My Daughter’, ‘Waiting for Daisy’, ‘Flux’ and ‘Schoolgirls’. She is also an active journalist for the New York Times magazine, USA today, Parenting, Salon, the New Yorker and other publications.
Peggy will be sharing her compelling and incisive perspective on the topic: ‘From Princesses to Pop-Tarts: What the New Culture of Girlhood Means for Girls and the Grown-Ups Who Care About Them’ as follows:
