Primary Teacher

About the position

As a Primary Teacher you will;

  • have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • be able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
  • have an understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of ability
  • display a commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher
  • demonstrate a commitment to the pastoral care and wellbeing of all students

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, with a proven ability to engage students and to create a relationship of mutual trust and respect. They will have the capacity to inspire students in our educational vision “Growing our love of learning”.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
