About the position

The Café Assistant is accountable for assisting with preparing Cafe food and providing a healthy and appealing recess and lunch service to the College community that reinforces the knowledge, skills and behaviours about healthy eating and lifestyle encouraged by the College.

The Café Assistant will provide warm, welcoming and professional service to students, staff, parents and visitors. They will assist with the preparation and serving of food and drinks that support the College’s approach to student health and nutrition and adhere to safe food handling and preparation practices in accordance with external regulations.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
