A weekend of rowing success

St Mary’s College rowers have enjoyed a successful start to the 2018 season.

The girls kicked off the year with a two-day rowing camp held at New Town Bay (where they had a chance meeting with some very friendly dolphins – visit our Facebook page for the full details) and recently completed their first event of the competition season, the Southern Schools Regatta at Franklin.

Well done, girls!

First annual cocktail party

All past and present supporters of the SMC/SVC/GYC Rowing Club are warmly invited to attend the club’s first annual cocktail party, to be held at the New Town Bay Rowing Centre on Saturday 24 February from 7.00pm.

Highlights of the evening will include musical entertainment, canapés, a free drink upon arrival and a silent auction, with some exciting prizes up for grabs.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased from the St Mary’s College Business Office.

All proceeds from the event will be used to assist with the maintenance of sculls, safety boats and club facilities. Please note, this is an adults-only event.
