A group of eight Year 7 students put their brainpower to the test when they participated in the da Vinci Decathlon on Friday 26 May.
This is the second year that Tasmanian school students have been invited to take part in this nation-wide competition that challenges teams to work together to complete a variety of complex academic tasks involving engineering, acting, cartography, de-coding, poetry and maths.
Proving that hard work really does pay off, our St Mary’s College team came second against 14 other teams from around the state. What a fantastic achievement!
Congratulations and well done to the following students:
Emily Walter, Amelie Cox, Isabel Burdick, Imogen Brown, Lily Ransley, Ellie Woodward, Cecilia Hutchinson and Caitlin Marr.
