St Mary’s is a Catholic College for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. We provide seamless transitions in the critical years between Years 6 and 7 and between Years 10 and 11. As a member of the Alliance of Girls’ Schools, we also are connected to national and international networks which allow for collaboration on and access to research on how girls learn.

From Kindergarten to Year 12, staff and parents work in partnership to guide students towards their full potential in an environment based firmly on the Gospel values of tolerance, truth and love.

At both Junior and Senior School levels, the College provides an extensive curriculum.

At St Mary’s College, we offer a diverse range of cocurricular activities, creative arts, including art, drama and music, a strong languages program, and a wide range of sporting opportunities.

Groving our love of learning

St Mary's College is located on the traditional lands of the muwinina people of the South East Nation. We acknowledge and deeply respect the palawa people, the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community, and all Elders past and present. We are committed to learning alongside our students and community in this place, nipaluna, and support the continued sharing of knowledge and culture.
