Music

Music offers students the opportunity to greatly develop their playing and ensemble skills by participating in the departments extra-curricular music ensembles:

• Senior Concert Band
• Senior Choir
• Senior Choral Group
• Senior Jazz Band
• String Ensemble
• Intermediate Jazz Band
• Small Group Ensembles

All groups operate either at lunchtime or after school and are open to grades 7 to 12 students.

The Junior School Music programme offers a Grade 3/4 choir that operates at lunchtime.

Both Music and Drama offers students the opportunity from grades 9 to 12 to see several local and interstate concerts and shows throughout the year.

Students studying Food (catering) are often asked to cater for major school functions by using the school’s state-of-the-art industrial kitchen.
