St Mary’s College will be seeing green on Saturday 17 March, but don’t worry, it will all be in the name of fun and frivolity!
Preparations are in full swing for our 150th Anniversary Fun Day, which will take place at the College that day from 12.00-3.00pm – what better way to celebrate our Irish roots than with a birthday bash on St Patrick’s Day?
Guests will be transported back to the past with a jam-packed program of old-fashioned games, colonial dress-ups, Irish music and dancing, and a giant birthday cake to complete the celebrations.
In true festival style, there will be a complimentary sausage sizzle on site, along with a wide array of delicious snacks and drinks – all of the green variety, of course, as well as anniversary merchandise and free face painting and a scavenger hunt for the kids.
Dress to impress
Get in on the spirit of the day by dressing up in colonial clothes or wearing green (in nod to our Irish roots), as there will be prizes on offer for best-dressed guests!
All members of the College community are invited to come along and enjoy the fun on St Patrick’s Day.
You will be able to find us on the SMC convent lawns – just look for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
