Year 12 students at St Mary’s College will be hosting an informative one-hour presentation on the issues related to body image, self-esteem and eating disorders on Wednesday 16 August at 9.30am.

The event is geared towards raising awareness of these issues in order to reduce the stigma associated with the very real and growing problem of eating disorders.

Guest speakers will include Christine Morgan, chief executive officer of The Butterfly Foundation, Jo Cook, founder of Tasmania Recovery from Eating Disorders, and St Mary’s Alumna, Tessa Ogle, who will speak about her personal experience of overcoming an eating disorder.
